What is Google Page Rank?

Google Page Rank or Google PR as it is called is a rank given by Google to each web page based on its importance. This rank is usually out of 10. Page rank has more to do with the quality of the website and pages according to Google and SEO.

If your website is rated 2/10 or 3/10 it is a fairly normal rating. It means that Google has ranked you site, they are not penalizing you and you are in their index. This ranking is fairly easy to get.

But as the rakings climb up to 5/10 or 6/10 it gets difficult to achieve them. If the ranking of your site is 6 which is a fairly high rating you may not want to link to a site with a lower rating as this will bring down your page rank as well

A rating out upwards of 6/10 is not only extremely difficult to get but a 10/10 is practically impossible. This is a rating of the importance of your website so you may be disappointed if you dont get the near perfect ratings however the 9’s and 10’s are usually given to the likes of Google themselves, NASA and BBC and it may be a little difficult to compete with these sites.
